Configure your New Slingshot Account


  1. Setup your extension - this will be the default extension (team member) in your system. 
    1. Display Name - the name you would like to display when calling other team members
    2. Extension Number - Your internal extension number which will be used to connect callers to your configured endpoints (cell phone, IP extensions, etc)
    3. Cell Phone Number -Will be used as your initial endpoint
    4. Email Address - the email address where your voicemail will be sent to you as an attachment
  2. Select your initial Greeting - the initial greeting will be played when a caller calls into your system.  There are 2 defualt greetings you can choose from:
    1. "Thank you for calling, please hold the line as we connect you" - this greeting will play and then connect to your cell phone
    2. "Thank you for calling, if you know your parties extension, please dial it now, otherwise hold the line as we connect you to the receptionist." - this greeting will play and then connect to your cell phone
Test your New Slingshot Account

  1. Call your Slingshot number
  2. Hear the initial greeting
  3. Wait till the call is connected to your cell phone
  4. Success!
